APPLICATIONS HAVE NOW CLOSED. PARENTS WILL BE CONTACTED BY THE END OF JULY CONFIRMING WHETHER STUDENTS HAVE BEEN OFFERED A PLACE.

Students in year 8 at Sutton Grammar and Nonsuch are invited to apply to join the CCF, in either the Army or RAF sections. The form below is an application and does not guarantee a place. We will contact all applicants by the end of term to confirm whether they have been successful in gaining a place. Once a place has been offered, an annual payment of £120 must be paid to confirm you place. This will be done via Parent Pay and instructions will be shared over the summer.

All cadets must submit a letter of application outlining, in no more than 300 words, why they wish to join the CCF. Please use a Microsoft Word or PDF file format.

This form must be completed by a parent or guardian. All boxes marked with an asterix must be completed before submitting.

Clothing

We will provide all cadets with the clothing they require (with the exception of boots and socks, which can be be purchased online at www.cadetdirect.com or your local army surplus store. Please see details provided here but these will not be required before the new year). To help us, please provide an indication of the sizing that matches most closely your child. Do not worry if none of the sizes appear to match your childs specific measurements - we will ensure they receive the most appropriate kit. Measurements below are in centimetres and in the following format:

Jacket: Height/Chest

Trousers: Leg/Waist/Seat

We find that the most common sizes are: 160/96 and 170/96 for trousers, 80/80/96, 75/76/92 and 80/72/88 for trousers.
